Mark Strauch, the Hawks Founder started the Hawks in 2016 from players in 4SRLL and his organization was first named : 4S Ranch Baseball Club. It has since grown from 2 teams to now be the largest travel ball organization in San Diego.
Coach Mark has lived in 4S Ranch for over 20 years. He was a coach and board member in the league. He was a 4SRLL All Stars coach for 5 different teams and led his 10U All Stars to the State tournament. That accomplishment is memorialize as signage on the backstop on Field #2 at the 4S Ranch Sports Park.
