After some time as a player in the program when he was younger, Coach Gabe is excited to bring his 12 years of experience of playing the game and mentoring younger players to our Hawks organization. He has grown to have a deep passion and understanding for the game. With this knowledge, he has become a firm believer that baseball is the hardest sport in the world and will require lots of failure and learning. Because I have failed so much as a ballplayer, he has gained information that has allowed me to reach high levels with a competitive nature that he brings to every player. Coach Gabe also strongly believes in teamwork and the team you step foot on a baseball field with, will be your second family. As someone who battled many injuries as a young player, he takes health and safety very seriously and will make sure that every player will have the ability to compete at the next level, remain uninjured, and most importantly have fun. ​
