[From Coach Colin]: "I’ve always loved baseball; playing, watching and most recently, coaching. I grew up in San Diego, playing for PNLL, Crush, then MCHS. I took a break from baseball during college, while I got a finance degree from SDSU. Realizing how much I missed playing, I decided to join an adult league and have been loving my time playing with the El Cajones.
To me, baseball is more than just a sport. I have met multiple lifelong friends, including my best friend who I met in Tee ball. It is, and always will be, the hardest sport there is, and the lessons I have learned from it have shaped who I am today. Although I have never coached, I have taken on a “coaching” role with the El Cajones and my much more casual slow pitch softball team, so much so that when I told people I would coach, they agreed it made sense. I am excited to bring everything I have learned from my time playing and helping my teammates to the Hawks!" |
