Is the Summer Program and Hawks Baseball right for my player?
We have found the the players that do best in our next level baseball program have the following characteristics:
Players that don't exhibit all these qualities are certainly welcome, but we find that early communication with families helps everyone with expectations and optimizing the development of each player.
Does this mean I am also part of the San Diego Hawks 2022/23 Program?
This is certainly an option and if you are interested, we would certainly encourage any new players to the program to schedule a tryout.

- Our 2022/2023 Hawks Baseball program starts on August 1st.
- Summer Ages are based on each player's 2021/2022 travel ball age, which is whatever age they were on April 30, 2022. Player's "age up" at the end of Summer.
- We will offer some pre-season training / game opportunities for those players interested on a per event basis.
Program Details
- 9 week program starting after Memorial Day weekend and lasting through July 31st.
- 2 events per week with a big emphasis on skills development and fun during the Summer program.
- 1 of those events will be a weekend game either against another program, or an inter-Hawks game.
- Players will have access to specialized training (lessons, clinics) at an additional cost.
- Events will be offered / scheduled in the TeamSnap team management solution / app.
Pricing
- $50 Registration Fee that covers part of the operations costs (insurance, administration, etc.)
- 9 week Summer program with a flexible "per event" pricing model - $20 per event, $25 per specialty clinic. Events are paid when you sign up for each event through our scheduling platform.
- This includes 2 scheduled events per week. Additional 1 on 1 and clinics training are available at The Nest Baseball Academy.
- HAWKS gear for the Summer program can be purchased (and drop shipped to you) using the SHOP on this website.
- Required : Hawks Navy and Green numbered shirts (not jersey), plus Hawks cap.

- Above average focus and coachability, listening to and learning from coaches.
- Athletes with solid hand-eye coordination do really well developing as baseball players.
- Positive, supportive families, both at home and at the fields, as we all work together to build your player's love of the game.

In partnership with the The Nest Baseball Academy and Holistic Baseball, the San Diego Hawks are once again running their fun baseball camps at the 4S Ranch Sports Park.
