The San Diego Hawks baseball player development program started just over 5 years ago and in that time, has grown into one of the largest and most comprehensive baseball training programs in San Diego.
In additional to delivering on our next level player development program, Hawks Baseball built a new training facility behind RedLine Athletics --- The Nest Baseball Academy, to be the team training site for Hawks Baseball. Note: Lessons, clinics and camps offered by The Nest are open to ALL baseball players and programs.

In 2022 / 2023, we are looking forward to building on what we implemented in the previous year, while also innovating to build new solutions that further build our culture of a family first organization with a college level passion for player development.
Here are just a few examples of how we differentiate ourselves as a program:
- Technology / Measurable Progress - We measure and quantity your player's progress through industry leading swing sensors (Blast Baseball) and tracking of other key baseball metrics like throwing velocity and running speed. We are a Top 10 organization (Nationally) with our usage of Blast Baseball.
- Operations / Certifications - Through operations typically only seen in college-level programs, we implement and optimize our practice plans and development strategies based on the best industry information (Driveline and USA Baseball certifications).
- Family - With the Hawks, you are joining a big baseball family, where you have access to your coaches and the club founder. We look for a good fit with the family and the player, as we work hard to eliminate the drama that is common in other travel baseball organizations.
- Flexibility - We work with families on a variety of things to optimize the Hawks Baseball experience for them, which could range from a multi-sports or multi-activity athlete, a player injury, or in some cases, unforeseen personal circumstances. We always strive to do what is right and fair.
- Industry Best Training Tools - Every year, we invest thousands of dollars in training tools, including pitching machines, Driveline balls, Jaeger Sports J-Bands, and more.
