If your player is looking to play on one of our San Diego Hawks travel ball teams, that process / tryouts are separate from our Summer Program / League. - Dedicated baseball players that want to continue playing this Summer after Little League.
- Players that want to get better this Summer with the goal of earning a spot on one of our Hawks travel ball teams.
- Players that are already offered spots and committed to our Hawks baseball program, that want to get better leading into team placement in August.
Summer Baseball Program (7U - 10U)
Our Summer program (7U - 10U) is open to all players that love the game, work hard, have a positive attitude, are mentally engaged (and coachable) and are great teammates that understand failure is part of the game. But, we also understand they are very young and our coaches will help them in these areas, in addition to fundamental skills that are part of the game of baseball.

7 Games @ Black Mountain Ranch Park --- SATURDAY GAMES
We are looking for players that love the game, work hard, have a positive attitude, are mentally engaged (and coachable) and are great teammates that understand failure is part of the game. But, we also understand they are very young and our coaches will help them in these areas, in addition to fundamental skills that are part of the game of baseball.
Players that do well in our Summer Program will have opportunities to be a part of our Fall Program that starts in August. That process is ongoing, so if you player is interested in our full program, please make sure you let us know.

Regular Price is $525
- Our pricing is less than other comparable Summer programs, because we know that players may miss some events because of vacations or other family events, and that is okay! Our program is flexible.
- Includes two HAWKS shirts (typically gray and white) and a HAWKS hat.
8 Practices (2 Hours @ The Nest Baseball Academy)
- Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays from 430pm to 630pm
- Players will select the day that works best for them each week, based on their other schedules.
- Players that miss a practice are welcome to go to two another week to make up for any lost reps / development.
- Flex Plan : Please update TeamSnap Availability and select the 8 practices you would like your player to attend.

- Note: Our facility, The Nest Baseball Academy, is located behind Redline Athletics
7 Games @ Black Mountain Ranch Park --- SATURDAY GAMES
- Players will be grouped by both age and skill level to maximize baseball development and player enjoyment.
- We will have an "A" and a "B" game each week, so that we can optimize the development of ALL the players. Rosters will be set at least 10 days in advance, based on availability, so families can plan ahead. Exception is first Saturday (6/14) games, which will be communicated out by Monday, June 8th following evaluations at The Nest.
- The more developmental "B" game will take place at 9am, with the more advanced players playing at 1145am. We cannot take game time requests.
- Rules will be modified to increase player development and fun (e.g. starting with a 1-1 count, increases reps). We will do a mix of coach pitch and kid pitch, etc. Whatever keeps the games active and fun for these kids!

Yes! New players joining our San Diego Hawks baseball family will be immediately added to a TeamSnap team where they can get Summer reps.
