Skills Development Clinics
WITH ALL CLINICS, PLAYERS ARE GROUPS BASED ON AGE AND SKILL LEVEL
Advanced Pitchers Bootcamps
Bootcamp Series (3)
Bootcamps aim to reduce arm pain and throwing inefficiencies, and teach proper throwing mechanics. We have switched to a 3 week program to ensure that players are committed to the process of becoming an elite pitcher. Knowing that we will have a consistent group will allow us to shoot video during the first session, so I can then do a full video analysis VoiceOver and throwing plan for the next two sessions. The VoiceOver video will be able to be downloaded by you and your player, and is likely the most important piece in your sons development as a pitcher. Every week we will also be doing a mindset presentation- that is either a motivational video or an in-depth look into pitching mechanics or strategy. Parents are encouraged to stay and take notes as we ask that players bring a notebook every week to write down this important information.
We believe that using video analysis of the players movement pattern will help us create a hyper-personalized throwing plan that reduces those inefficiencies. I believe that our pitchers should be their own best pitching coach, so that they can make adjustments based on the knowledge and insights they have gained in their training. If we can reduce pain, and speed up recovery time, the second order effects in many cases are; increased command, velocity, better breaking pitches, and more consistent performance on the mound in game.
